The Littles Western Riding Program
We are excited to announce that the Littles Western Riding Program is back, starting this September 2024!
When: Saturday Mornings, starting September 21st, 2024. 4 Week Sessions.
2 Classes Offered: 9am-10am and 10:15am-11:15am.
This is a lead line assisted, western riding program for children ages 3-8yrs. Children will begin their journey with horses, right from the ground up! They will begin to develop, not only their riding skills, but also their hands-on and social skills with horses,
What Makes Us Different??
The Littles Western Riding Program is one of a kind! It teaches the youngsters the “language of the horse” which lays the foundational groundwork to build skills and awareness around both riding and horse safety. This program allows and encourages your children to excel and build confidence, all while having lots of fun! What also makes this program unique, is that it builds the steppingstones to transition into the Storm Academy as early as 9 yrs.! Rest assured your children are in great hands! In addition to each child be assigned to a “Leader” who will be responsible for leading their horse, the program is also lead by 2 Coaches. A Safety & Demonstration Coach and a Lesson Coach.
Meet the Coaches:
This program is developed, coached and lead by Aimee Bailey & Becky Skuter.
Aimee Bailey holds a Bachelor Degree in Child Studies and has over 25 years’ experience in teaching and coaching youngsters.
Becky Skuter is a certified Western Riding Coach with 20 years’ experience coaching, and a lifetime of riding & horse adventures!
Together, these sisters will work hard to deliver the safest and most educational program in the business!
All our staff are also certified Level 1 & 2 Storm Riders, who are current members of the Storm Academy.
Program Details Recap & Pricing: (Ages 3-8) Lessons run in 4-week sessions; same time each week. Current students have the opportunity to carry into the next session, before the spots are opened up to new riders.
There will be 2 classes offered: 9am-10am & 10:15am-11:15am.
Pricing:
1Xweek/1 hour = 4 weeks $305 +GST ($320.25)
There will be 3 Sessions running from September – December
1st: September 14 – October 5
2nd: October 5 – November 2
3rd: November 9 – November 30
**The Humblehorse Ranch asks for a minimum commitment of 3 months at a time, BUT arrangements can be made for 4 week increments as well. Fees can be paid each month, or total amount for 3 months**
*If you need directions, please use the map on our website as GPS can take you to the wrong location.
*We supply ALL horses, tack and have spare riding boots and helmets you can borrow if needed.
***Please Note: 24 hours’ notice is required for missed classes. Make-up classes are NOT guaranteed; however, we will do our best to try and accommodate one. Failure to give 24 hours’ notice will result in loss of any opportunity for a make-up class***
